Be a part of the church!

There are various ways to be involved at Rome Baptist. We understand you may be in Rome for only a short while, but we encourage you to get involved in whatever way you can.

Children

Nursery

A nursery is provided for on the second floor during the Sunday morning service at 10.30AM. This is aimed at children under the age of 3 so that their parents can take part in worship more fully.

Children's Church

Children aged 3-10 years are asked to stay with their parents for the first part of the worship service. After the children's sermon (see below), they are encouraged to go upstairs for a Bible-based program especially for them.

Children's sermon

During the worship service there is a special sermon of about 5-10 minutes aimed at the children (and the adults can benefit from it, too!). The children are encouraged to come to the front of the church for this.

Celebrate Recovery

The purpose of Celebrate Recovery is to fellowship and celebrate God’s healing power in our lives in the eight recovery principles found in the Beatitudes and Christ-centered 12 Steps. We open the door by sharing our experiences, strengths, and hopes with one another. In addition, we become willing to accept God’s grace in solving our life problems.

By working the Christ-centered Steps and applying their biblical principles found in the Beatitudes, we become free from our addictive, compulsive, and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy and most importantly a stronger personal relationship with God and others.

As we progress through the principles we discover our personal, loving and forgiving Higher Power - Jesus Christ.

You can also check out the Celebrate Recovery website at www.celebraterecovery.com to find out more about Celebrate Recovery programs worldwide!

Celebrate Recovery meets on Fridays, starting from 7:00pm. Please contact Alessia at 338 167 5680 for more details. You could also send an email to celrecrome@gmail.com.
